On Tues 6th of May, i sent 2 dogs to the homing centre in Bideford, North Devon. Last night i had a phone call to say that on the way back to the homing centre they had stopped for fuel in the Torridge area, as it was hot and 4 dogs in the vehicle, the window had been left slightly lowered. I am told a Jack Russel jumped up barking at the car, one of the dogs went for the window and it shattered, one of the dogs got out and is on the loose. The dog is Marlenes Galore, AKA Marlon. He is 35kilos and fawn/brindle. He is a very nervous dog, although a million times better than when we first had him, he is not keen on men until he gets to know you, doesnt like big crowds or a lot of noise. He is, as far as we are aware, still muzzled. I would think very hungry, unless he has got the muzzle off, and very tired. The police, the rgt head office are aware and there is an appeal out on local radio.
If anyone can help or sees him in Devon, and yes he could be anywhere by now, please call me on 07826 557548, North Devon RGT (Tracey) on 01237 451 677, or Rita Price rgt rep at Poole stadium on 01747854042.
We need to find him......................cheers.
