A good night for the punters with some fast racing from Sheffield in the Steel City Cup Final. The locals are always very well represented and tough nuts to crack and so it proved again. Well done to all at the Jimmy Wright kennels with the Richard Wheeler owned Minglers Thunder justifying favouritism and potential with a dazzling burst of early pace providing the platform to win handsomely. I think we'll be seeing a lot more of this fellow in the coming months.
On round scoring, a tremendous set of picks from BASHMAN for an excellent score of 94 points, which consisted of 6 wins, 2 seconds and the bonus points. DAVE SMITH and KAAN13 weren't too far behind on 87 points which on another few nights would have won the round.
On the NAP and NB Bonus point front, lots of low priced winners saw 19 of us lift the bounty.
Top dog on the non-bonus point scorers saw yet another tie (3 in a row) this time between WEBBO74 and TOPDEAL (LEE GIFKINS) who both mustered 67 points.
Individual scores for the round are as shown below (will add the overalls in another post shortly):
