Can anyone tell us, if the ear marks are known, what they are? It should be easy to trace some of the dogs history from them.
I hope the dog makes a full recovery and finds a loving home to live out the rest of his days.
regards, Maureen

Presumably anyone who is missing a dog of this description will ring in with the tattoo number Wardens and rescues don't give them out - the owner has to provide them, to stop people falsely claiming the dog
I assume the warden in question checked the tattoo number and the owner could not be traced, which quite often happens with tattoos and chips - people forget to update the database when they move or change tel number

It may be that the last registered NGRC owner sold the dog and did not advise the NGRC but at least it could be a starting point. regards, Maureen
