I HAVE BEEN ASKED TO POST THIS
I have just finished speaking to tony walton about the accident involving his dogs on saturday night. Dean the driver is okay just shook up which is understandable. he is obviously gutted about the dead dogs but is more worried about the one that is loose. The dog is called Royston Trio, blue dog ear marks DP NML. He was reported to Tony as being sighted near Sherburn in Elmet, which is near Tadcaster, Yorkshire on Sunday. He is muzzeled and although the sighting suggested he was okay two days have passed and he will not be able to feed himself. Anyone in the area who hears anything etc.

Thanks Hi Sara, The tel number given is the same as the one on the trainers database within the ngrc website. I believe that the missing dog is called Royston - this is the initial post on the Kinsley board by the owners of one of the dogs killed in this tragic accident Just a quick note to pass on to Tony & Dean on the tradagy on the a64 last night in which they had 4 dogs killed. Flight,Wacky,Bree & Geri. Geri had given myself & Debbie so much fun & none of them deserved to go like that. Praying Royston that survived but ran off is found safe & sound. I know Tony & Dean love all their dogs & are devastated. Best Regards, Mike & Debbie I hope someone, somewhere, finds Royston safe and sound very soon. regards, Maureen

Hi Sara, What great work you are doing. It is nice to know that there is someone like you we can turn to for help if we lose a Dog or it is stolen etc.. I hope Dennis is found soon, with him being muzzled he won't be able to fend for himself so the urgency to find him is far greater. Another case for a debate of should they be muzzled or not I remember a few years ago when Jo Burridge at Poole had a Dog escape from the track during a race (jumped the wall on the first bend & ran straight out the gate!!!). It was missing for about a week. It was found, exhausted but otherwise in good nick. I hope this story has as happy an ending as that one.

It's very upsetting with ref "Dennis' that the DogLost website has been down for the last 36 hours, I've just emailed the owner Jayne to ask how long before it's up again. I'm sure she will have emailed posters out to all local helpers though.
I know the website was being re-built last week - so much traffic now! - so I guess that's the reason, but unfortunate. Will update soon as I have any news from our end, I know at least one local lady was gearing into action before the site went down. Jayne has Tony's number so I expect they are liaising
They poster all over the place so that anyone seeing the dog can contact the owner asap, and they also send out the poster to local Dog Wardens etc but it's very important the owner/trainer contacts all local rescues and DW themselves if poss, also local police. Dogs are put up for re-homing so quickly these days and people don't always follow best practice and scan!
