cross posted Cross posted from another forum.......... Please take some time to read this: A young Lurcher pup is missing in the West Country on the Dorset/Somerset borders. Bradie is owned by a 5-yr old Downs Syndrome boy who cannot understand why his puppy will not be home at Christmas. If you live, or know anyone who lives in Dorset, Somerset, Wiltshire or surrounding counties, would you kindly print out (or ask your friends to) this poster and put it in some shop windows? Let's do all we can to find this lost dog - it would mean so much to the family to have her back for Christmas! There is also a Facebook group: www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=207750661325Please keep an eye open for her. have looked on facebook link and seems she as not been found yet Link to Post - Back to Top Logged --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I just received this message on FB... Great to hear that Bradie is finally back home. Well I am really happy to announce that as of yesterday Brady is back with his Family. As you can probably imagine Pete, Gayle and especially the kids are absoloutely over the moon, with many tears being shed. Archie hasnt stopped smiling. As you can see by the pics on the group page Brady is a little bigger that when she went! but it was very obvious that she was delighted to be home.
Just to fill you in on the story, Dorset police recieved an anonymous tip off that Brady was being kept by a family from down bournemouth way. They followed this up and with little fuss were happy to report to the family that it was Brady. Her ear tatoos played a vital role in identifying her beyond doubt so I strongly suggest that you dog owners out there seriously consider having this done.
Finally just a huge thankyou to everyone that has joined the group. It may well have been you joining which meant that one of your friends saw the pics which led to her being returned. There have been many offers of help with posters, people posting details on forums, offering puppys and generally offering all kinds of support. we couldnt have done it without you so award yourself some brownie points.
I will post some more pics up to the group in the coming days and let the group run for a while so everyone has a chance to get the good news.
Remember kids, guard youre dogs there are some truly heartless people out there

Very good news, I would have loved to have seen the look on the little boys face when he was reunited with his dog

Full story of the recovery of Brady on page 3 of today's Western Daily Press, with a lovely photo of a very happy Archie with his best pal! Nice to read a good news story about dogs for a change.
